Introducing DESHA: Two bags in one

On September 19th, SONYA LEE introduces a new silhouette to our collection: DESHA. Designed with versatility and intent, DESHA challenges the conventions of the everyday tote, bringing functionality and refinement into perfect balance.

We call DESHA the anti-cotton tote, a reimagined essential for those who want more than a bag that “just carries.” Inspired by utility, elevated through design, DESHA adapts to the pace of modern life. She moves from day to night without hesitation, reshaping herself to fit the moment

The DESHA is intentionally multi-dimensional.

• As a tote: spacious enough for a standard laptop and all the essentials of a long day.
• As a folded handbag: sleek and compact for evenings out.
• As an asymmetrical silhouette: a more directional take, achieved by cinching the side grommets.

Each variation is supported by a studded adjustable strap that transforms effortlessly from crossbody to shoulder to handheld.

Like every SONYA LEE piece, DESHA is crafted in our Toronto studio from buttery-soft Argentine leather, finished with our signature silver hardware. Details like secure zip closures and reinforced structure mean that DESHA is as practical as she is sculptural.

We created DESHA to stand against the culture of “cotton totes.” This piece isn’t a temporary carry-all—it’s a lasting investment, one that speaks to craftsmanship, sustainability, and the belief that luxury can also be adaptable.
